DeAndre Liggins is one the move again, but he’s staying in the state of Texas.
On Wednesday, the Dallas Mavericks traded Liggins to the Houston Rockets in exchange for cash considerations. Liggins opened the 2016-17 season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but ended up being waived towards the end of the regular season.
The Mavs claimed Liggins off of waivers and activated him for one game before the regular season ended. There were reports this offseason that Dallas was planning to cut Liggins, but they instead worked out a deal to send him to Houston, where he’ll team up with James Harden and Chris Paul.
