A standout sixth man on the floor and a star in the classroom, Davion Mintz has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District Team.
Mintz, a sixth-year senior at Kentucky, was named to the team on Thursday, making him eligible to earn Academic All-America honors.
An honor recognizing athletic and academic success for student-athletes across the country, First Team Academic All-District honorees will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot where First, Second, and Third-Team All-America honorees will be selected in mid-March.
