Late Wednesday night, Collins announced he earned a scholarship offer from John Calipari and co.
With Texas assistant Jai Lucas set to join John Calipari’s staff, more recruiting options from the Lone Star State will pop up soon. One of the most obvious is Collins, who is ranked 20th nationally by Rivals, 24th by ESPN, and 29th by 247 Sports. His lead recruiter from Texas was Lucas.
The 6-9, 210-pound big man out of Atlanta (TX) holds also offers from the Longhorns, Kansas Jayhawks, Oklahoma Sooners, Georgia Bulldogs, Arkansas Razorbacks and USC Trojans among others.
