Daimion Collins celebrated his best game as a Wildcat by injuring his face in a manner so ridiculous, it’s hard to believe.
The freshman from Atalanta, Tx. made a surprising splash Saturday against Alabama. Relegated to the sideline for most of conference play, he immediately made an impact at Coleman Coliseum, scoring 10 points and grabbing six rebounds in only nine minutes of action.
“Everyone here in the whole program knows what Daimion can do,” TyTy Washington said after the 66-55 victory over Alabama. “We all know he’s 6-10 with a 45-inch vertical, just throw the ball up as high as you can and he’ll catch it.
