LEXINGTON – Kentucky football set a program record with six selections in a seven-round NFL draft this weekend. The Wildcats’ 2022 draft class could be even better.
Kentucky’s 2021 roster was boosted by the decisions of offensive tackle Darian Kinnard and running back Chris Rodriguez to return to school. Now, Kinnard leads the way of potential 2022 Kentucky draftees, and Rodriguez seems likely to join him if he has the type of season expected in a featured role this fall.
For the first time in program history, Kentucky could have double-digit draft picks in 2022.
