LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky football’s pro day was supposed to be Lynn Bowden’s chance to turn NFL scouts’ heads with a blazing 40-yard dash time.
Bowden did not run the 40 at the NFL combine in February due to a hamstring injury. He pointed to UK’s pro day a month later as his opportunity to prove his eye-popping rushing numbers from last season could translate into the type of measurables scouts fixate on during the pre-draft process.
