Kentucky Football is trying to own the state of Tennessee on the recruiting trail–and the ‘Cats are doing quite well at it lately. Class of 2023’s Joe Crocker is just the latest example.
Crocker, a 6-foot-6, 310-pound offensive lineman from Franklin Road Academy in Nashville, Tennessee, received an offer from Kentucky over two and half years ago, all the way back in December of 2019. Direct contact with the coaching staff at UK has been difficult because of his age and COVID-19’s effect on the recruiting landscape the last year-plus, but the two sides have spent the last several weeks building a relationship, particularly with new offensive line coach Eric Wolford and associate head coach Vince Marrow.
