It’s been an up-and-down season for Mark Stoops at Kentucky, and Saturday’s game was certainly one of those lower points. However, despite UK’s 45-17 loss to Vanderbilt, Stoops earned high praise from Vandy’s head coach, Clark Lea.
During Saturday’s postgame press conference, Lea took time to give his props to Stoops. After three straight wins for Kentucky, the Cats entered the game with some high expectations.
“Now, this was a really hot team, Kentucky. I’ve got a ton of respect for them, a ton of respect for Mark Stoops and the program he’s built.
