One trade may have been the final push for former Kentucky cornerback Chris Westry to make the Baltimore Ravens final roster.
The Ravens made a trade earlier Thursday that sent rookie cornerback Shaun Wade to the New England Patriots in exchange for a 2022 seventh-round pick and a 2023 fifth-round pick. As a result, a spot has been cleared for Westry to make the final 53-man roster.
“Should clear the way for Chris Westry to make the roster,” said Jonas Shaffer of the Baltimore Sun.
