Freshman of the week, an award that is given to the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team on a week by week basis. Football on the other hand… we are just now getting used to the sound of that thanks to Freshman Chris Westry.

The Freshman corner back was dealt a tough card in his second regular season game with the South Carolina Gamecocks on the road. Westry was seen in the picture above making a crucial stop to force a field goal. Westry also made the key interception that helped seal the victory for the Cats.
