Another week, another career milestone for Chris Rodriguez. Saturday night No. 24 became just the fourth running back in school history to surpass 3,000 career rushing yards. He’s in good company, joining Moe Williams, Sonny Collins and Benny Snell in the 3,000-yard rushing club.
Rodriguez had 198 yards through two games of the 2022 season. He nearly eclipsed that total against Mississippi State, tallying 196 yards on 30 carries (6.5 yards per attempt). It was the second-best single-game performance of Chris Rodriguez’s career, trailing only a 207-yard night against Missouri in 2021.
