Chris Matthews sits down with KSR to Reminisce on his Super Bowl Performance of a Lifetime

This Sunday the Kansas City Chiefs will try to defend their title as Super Bowl Champions against Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV. Six years ago the Seattle Seahawks were in a similar situation against Brady. Before a disaster at the goal line, former Kentucky wide receiver Chris Matthews was the Seahawks’ unlikely hero.

An undrafted rookie, Matthews did not catch a pass in the regular season. After recovering a pivotal onside kick in the NFC Championship Game, Matthews had four receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown in the final football game of the 2014 NFL season.
