Charles Barkley has a nickname for former Kentucky star Anthony Davis, who missed an NBA Playoff game last night due to a groin injury.
“The Lakers can’t win this series, forget about the championship, they can’t win this series without Street Clothes,” Barkley explained last night on NBA on TNT.
Asked to explain what he meant, Barkley said, “I call him Anthony ‘Street Clothes’ Davis, cause he’s always in street clothes.”
The Phoenix Suns defeated the short-handed Lakers 115-85 to take a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.
