Cha'iel Johnson, the daughter of legendary Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson, and a star track athlete at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida announced her decision on Tuesday to run track at the University of Kentucky.
Chad tweeted out a video of Cha'iel in a UK track uniform Tuesday.
Cha'iel confirmed the decision on Wednesday, tweeting out a picture with the caption: "My new homeud83dudc99ud83dudc99"
Chad, a big fan of the EA Sports FIFA video game titles, made a challenge to residents of Lexington: "Now i get to beat everybody’s ass in FIFA that lives in Lexington for the next 4 years & that makes me happy"
At this year's FHSAA Class 4A Track & Field State Championships, Cha'iel won the 800 meters and was part of the second place 4x400 and 4x800 relay teams.
