Center Jon Toth, Safety Mike Edwards and Linebacker Jordan Jones Honored by the Associated Press

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky senior center Jon Toth was voted first-team All-Southeastern Conference, while sophomore linebacker Jordan Jones and sophomore safety Mike Edwards earned second-team All-SEC honors by the Associated Press, it was announced on Thursday.

Toth is the first Kentucky player to be tabbed first-team AP All-SEC since linebacker Alvin “Bud” Dupree and kicker Austin MacGinnis earned the honor in 2014. Edwards and Jones made the AP second-team honors a year after defensive tackle Cory “C.J.” Johnson was similarly honored.

Toth, who hails from Indianapolis, is one of four returning starters on the Wildcats’ offensive line and is considered one of the top centers in college football for the second straight season.
