With Kentucky up big on South Carolina in the regular season finale, many of John Calipari’s reserves were given an opportunity in the final minutes of the victory.
Cam’Ron Fletcher was one of the five non-rotation players off the bench, the four-star recruit’s second game appearance since he was suspended for attitude issues following the loss to North Carolina in December. Until his six minutes late in the win against the Gamecocks, Fletcher played only one minute of basketball, at Missouri, in Kentucky’s entire 17-game SEC schedule.
“I wanted to play Cam,” Calipari explained after the game.
