LEXINGTON – For weeks Kentucky fans have debated whether the Wildcats could play in the Louisville region of the NCAA Tournament as a No. 2 seed.
Not John Calipari though.
“It wasn’t a slim (chance), it was none,” he said.
Calipari was proven right, but maybe not in the way his tendency to jump to conspiracy theories when it comes to NCAA Tournament seeding might have suggested.
As Calipari and players watched the selection show Sunday, there was no reaction as the teams in the Louisville region were revealed and Kentucky was not among them.
