BTI’s Rants and Rambling: Monday Morning Offensive Breakdown (Florida)

Now that was just an enjoyable experience, wasn’t it? And I think what made it most enjoyable is Kentucky completely exerted it’s will over Florida for much of that game. This team has a clear identity as one who dominates in the trenches and with it’s star running backs. And Terry Wilson showed the flashes on speed and arm strength that UK hasn’t had in quite a long time. Take a look at the offensive numbers, by down and distance, from Saturday and celebrate the fact that, for once, UK made the game they wanted it:

1st Down
Run: 19 rushes, 169 yards, 1 TD
Pass: 3-7, 30 yards, 1 INT

SEASON TOTALS
Run: 41 rushes, 330 yards, 3 TD
Pass: 9-19, 105 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT (1 fumble lost)

Recap: Absolutely dominant performance by the backs and offensive line.
