Bryce Hopkins set to put up "substantial numbers" at Providence

Curious how things are going for former Kentucky forward Bryce Hopkins at Providence? He’s clearly doing something right.

After watching the Friars practice this week in Rhode Island, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports is predicting a big year for the former Wildcat.

“Kentucky transfer Bryce Hopkins is going to put up substantial numbers for Providence,” Rothstein wrote this week. “Think a right-handed version of LaDontae Henton at 6-7. Takes and makes 3s with ease. Terrific face-up player.”

Providence head coach Ed Cooley agrees with Rothstein’s analysis, singling out Hopkins as a “matchup nightmare” who is expected to produce in his first year as a Friar.
