Understandably, Breathitt County got off to a slow start before going on to beat Magoffin County 43-0 in the Kroger KSR Game of the Week. A larger than expected crowd filled the Mike Holcomb Athletic Complex where emotions were high following the county’s recent flooding. The fact that the Bobcats were able to host the game was remarkable. I was in Jackson and the surrounding areas for two days. Crews worked round the clock to ensure the community had a place to gather and watch a football game.
Breathitt County dominated on the field as well as the stat sheet on Friday night.
