While many college teams are looking to score big in the transfer portal, Tennessee just had a heck of a 36-hour stretch.
After getting a pledge from 2021 four-star center Jonas Aidoo, the Vols scored a commitment from 2022 five-star forward Brandon Huntley-Hatfield today. In addition, Huntley-Hatfield will reclassify into 2021.
The 6-9, 220-pound forward just finished his junior season at Scotland Performance Institute in Pennsylvania. He is originally from Clarksville (TN) and is ranked as the nation’s top power forward and fourth overall prospect for 2022 by 247 Sports.
As you may recall, Huntley-Hatfield was once a strong Kentucky target, and the Wildcats were viewed as heavy favorites going into the summer of 2020.
