LEXINGTON - Brandon Boston is finally starting to play like the star Kentucky fans expected him to be as a recruit.
For the second consecutive game, Boston performed like Kentucky's best player, but unlike his breakout showing in a loss to Georgia on Wednesday, this time Boston did enough to lead UK to a win with 18 points in an 82-69 victory over LSU.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Kentucky and gave the 5-9 Wildcats some much-needed momentum in advance of a stretch of four consecutive games against ranked opponents.
Kentucky took control of the game early, flourishing against LSU's full-court pressure defense with a 12-4 run to open the game.
