It’s unclear if Kentucky will accept a bowl invite or shut it down for the remainder of 2020.
Mark Stoops decided against bowl talk in the locker room Saturday night, he admitted to the media, rather focusing on the big win and allowing his players, his staff and himself to soak it all in for a night.
The bowl decision will be a balancing act, Stoops said, when the team meets Sunday morning to discuss its future and gauge the interest around the room.
“I think there’s some obligation there for myself and our team and our league,” Stoops said, while also acknowledging his team is completely gassed and in need of some time off.
