Kentucky has found the next Lynn Bowden. Four-star athlete Michael Drennen revealed on National Signing Day that he has picked UK over USC.
A consensus top 250 player recruit, Rivals ranks Drennen as the No. 10 all-purpose back in America. He earns the title “all-purpose back” for his ability to make plays out of the backfield as a running back and from the slot as a pass-catcher. At Kentucky he’ll primarily be used in the slot and can immediately compete for playing time.
Recruited by Vince Marrow, the Big Dog began this process when Drennen was an eighth grader.
