The afternoon session was full of yawners and the evening session had a couple of barnburners as the KHSAA Boys Sweet 16 tipped off Wednesday.
The first 2 games didn’t have a lot of drama as Walton Verona beat Knox Central 76-54 and Trinity destroyed Johnson Central 70-28.
The evening’s two contests were very competitive as Campbell County held off undefeated John Hardin 61-60 and Ashland upset Owensboro 58-50.
The highlights of the day included a couple of big dunks from Louisville signee David Johnson who is the star of Trinity. This is the best one:
