Bleacher Report Profiles Courtney Love, College Football’s Ultimate Humanitarian

UK Athletics

In just three short years on campus, Courtney Love has become one of the best representatives for the University of Kentucky.

A two-year team captain, the middle linebacker’s accomplishments on the field are incomparable to what he’s done off the field. His efforts were rewarded after the season with the Wuerffel Trophy. Given each year to college football’s greatest community servant, he’s the first Wildcat to win the award.

Love’s work with Amachi is the primary reason he won the prestigious award. A program that helps children who are victims of incarcerated parents, Love was once in their shoes.
