The accolades continue to roll in for Kentucky basketball signee BJ Boston.

In Thursday evening’s USA Today Sports Awards, the 6-foot-7 guard was named California’s Basketball Player of the Year and Athlete of the Year.

In the Basketball Player of the Year race, Boston defeated fellow top-ten prospects Evan Mobley and Ziaire Williams, who signed with Southern California and Stanford, respectively.

For Athlete of the Year, Boston earned the honor over Nathan Haas (wrestling) and Uriel Sanchez (soccer) in the state of California.

NBA superstar Steph Curry presented the first award, followed by NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes presenting the next.
