Best of UK in the NCAA: Willie Cauley-Stein Murders a Cincinnati Bearcat

If you turn back the clock to the 2015 NCAA Tournament, the first thing that comes to mind is probably a bad memory. Go back a little further and you’ll recall a colossal slam that nearly destroyed Louisville’s KFC Yum! Center.

At the conclusion of an undefeated regular season, the Wildcats marched into the NCAA Tournament with a 34-0 record, earning the right to play first and second round games in Louisville. It goes without saying, Blue Got In.

Playing essentially in front of a home crowd, it took some time for the Cats to use it to their advantage.
