The busiest six weeks of Will Stein‘s professional career have nearly reached a conclusion. Stein was introduced as the Kentucky head football coach on Dec. 3. The transfer portal closes on Friday. In between it all, he was still working his other job.
On Dec. 20, Oregon knocked off James Madison at Autzen Stadium. On New Year’s Day, they eliminated Texas Tech in the Orange Bowl. He was back in Lexington the following day for the first day of the transfer portal visits at Kentucky. Stein did not stick around for long before returning to Eugene to prepare for a semifinal matchup against Indiana.
