While the Kentucky Wildcats players and coaches get all of the glory, the basketball managers also deserve recognition for how they help the team.
Beginning in 1962, Bill Keightley, who would later be known as Mr. Wildcat, started working with the UK basketball program under Adolph Rupp. Ten years later, Keightley became the head Equipment Manager, and since then, many have served as basketball managers in hopes of helping the Cats in the same way Keightley would do for nearly five decades.
