Athlon Sports dropped its College Football Preview on newsstands nationwide today and there is a ton of information to digest for college football fans.
For instance, in Athlon’s 2021 Bowl Projections, the publication predicts Kentucky will represent the Southeastern Conference in the Liberty Bowl on New Year’s Eve. The opponent? None other than Neal Brown and his West Virginia Mountaineers.
Brown of course played wide receiver at Kentucky, then became Mark Stoops’ first offensive coordinator in Lexington when Stoops took the job in 2013. Brown has an 11-11 record in two seasons in Morgantown, and had WVU in last year’s Liberty Bowl, a game WVU won, 24-21, over Central Florida.
