Kentucky fell behind early in Tuscaloosa when Alabama opened the game on an eight-point run and led by as many as nine in the first five minutes of action. But the Tide eventually cooled while Sahvir Wheeler and Antonio Reeves carried Kentucky’s offense to a first-half comeback that brought Kentucky back into the fight and within a point with five minutes to go before halftime.
But with Cason Wallace on the bench in foul trouble and Oscar Tshiebwe playing the worst half we’ve ever seen from him, Alabama pushed back ahead on a 14-5 run to where we are now at intermission with Alabama leading Kentucky, 35-24.
