As expected, we didn’t get much of an update on Ashton Hagans’ ankle in today’s press conference. Joel Justus subbed in for John Calipari and said the sophomore point guard remains “day-to-day” after suffering a lower left ankle sprain in Saturday’s game vs. Missouri.
“I think it’s day-to-day and we had a very cerebral day yesterday after the game that we played Saturday. We came back and watched film like we always do and had more of a scripted walk-through day. We’ll see where he is today but I think for us, I think it’s day-to-day and at this time in the season, everybody’s starting to get a little banged up so that’s not any different than any of the other 13 guys on our roster.
