LEXINGTON, Ky. - The worst-kept secret in Kentucky basketball is a secret no more.
Five-star point guard Ashton Hagans posted a photo on Twitter on Friday with a high school diploma, signalling his move from the class of 2019 to class of 2018 is official. The Kentucky commit can now enroll in college in time for the 2018-19 season.
Hagans committed to UK in April and has long been rumored to be eyeing a move to the 2018 class.
"He's a tough, physical point guard with good size for the position," 247Sports national basketball analyst Evan Daniels told the Courier Journal in March.
