On Monday morning, the University of Kentucky Athletics Department announced that Kentucky women’s basketball head coach Kyra Elzy was relieved of her duties, officially marking the end of the pairing.
In her four-year tenure with the Cats, Elzy produced a 61-60 overall record and a 23-40 record in SEC play, but after back-to-back losing seasons it was time for a change.
