Amiya Jenkins signs NLI with Kentucky WBB, completes 2022 recruiting class

It took an extra two days, but Kyra Elzy’s first-ever recruiting class is now all future Wildcats.

On Friday afternoon, four-star class of 2022 guard Amiya Jenkins out of Anderson County High School signed her National Letter of Intent with Kentucky Women’s Basketball. The 5-foot-10 native of the Bluegrass State is the fourth and final commit to sign her NLI with UK.

Kentucky received NLI from four-stars Tionna Herron and Saniah Tyler, along with in-state prospect Cassidy Rowe, on Wednesday; the start of the early signing period. Jenkins was one of the best players from the state of Kentucky as a junior in 2021 and figures to be a frontrunner (along with Rowe) for Kentucky Miss Basketball this season.
