All-A Classic Championship Set

Big man Jackson Twombly scored 26, Chaz Austin totaled 16 points and 12 rebounds, and the upstart Frankfort Panthers upset Murray 49-47 in overtime.

With Frankfort trailing 13-4 early, Twombly kept the Panthers in it with his inside scoring and smooth jump shots. He scored 13 of his team’s first 16 points. Austin made key plays down the stretch, including an old fashioned 3-point play in the final seconds of overtime.

Darius Duffy had 6 points, 18 rebounds, and 5 blocks for Murray. He and Twombly both put on quite a show. Murray’s other key player, Grant Whitaker, struggled with foul trouble all game.
