Former Kentucky forward Alex Poythress will officially continue his professional career in Israel.
Poythress, fresh off a VTB United League championship with Zenit, has agreed to terms of a new deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel’s Winner League.
Last season, Poythress averaged 12.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game for Zenit in the VTB United League. In 23 Euroleague games, he averaged 7.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.
