Former Kentucky forward Alex Poythress was recently named Player of the Month for the month of February in the VTB United League.
Poythress averaged 11.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 blocks per game for Zenit St. Petersburg in February.
Unfortunately, due the situation in Ukraine, Poythress and many other players had to depart Russia at the end of the month.
