Former Kentucky forward Alex Poythress has signed with Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul in Turkey’s top-level BSL legue.

Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul (BSL) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old American forward Alex Poythress (203-108kg-93, college: Kentucky). He already started the season at Jilin Northeast Tigers in Chinese CBA league. The last season Poythress played at the Hawks in NBA where in 21 games he recorded 5.1ppg and 3.6rpg.
Among other achievements he received USBasket.com All-D-League 2nd Team award in 2017.
Poythress has played previously professionally in NBA (Philadelphia 76ers and Indiana Pacers) and NBA G League (Fort Wayne Mad Ants and College Park SkyHawks).
