Avery Stuart, a four-star defensive back from Alabama Christian, committed to Kentucky football over Auburn and Florida State on Wednesday morning.
Stuart is the No. 197 player in the Class of 2023, per the 247Sports Composite. He had announced his three finalists July 2, down from a top six which also included Arkansas, Miami and Michigan State.
Florida State seemed to be a slight favorite until Monday, when 247Sports' Zach Blostein and Steve Wiltfong submitted Crystal Ball predictions for Kentucky. On3 had the Wildcats' chances of landing the Montgomery product at 74.5% Tuesday afternoon, with the Seminoles at 23.
