Akron's own Chris Livington signs with Cleveland

A familiar name from the John Calipari era has a new NBA home. Former Kentucky forward Chris Livingston has signed a two-way contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, announced Friday.

Livingston, a native of Akron, Ohio, returns close to home after spending his first two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks. The former five-star recruit appeared in 21 games in each of his first two years in Milwaukee, totaling 42 games for his pro career, with averages of 1.3 points and 1.1 rebounds in limited minutes.

Livingston was selected 58th overall in the 2023 NBA Draft after one season in Lexington, where he averaged 6.
