Count Mike Krzyzewski among those that believe trying to have a college basketball season during a pandemic is a very bad idea. After Duke’s 83-68 loss to No. 6 Illinois last night, Coach K was asked if he thinks playing games right now is a good idea.
“I don’t think it feels right to anybody,” Krzyzewski said, via the News and Observer. “I mean, everyone is concerned.”
“We made an assessment,” he continued. “I’m not sure who leads college basketball. It’s done by committee. Anything that’s led by committee is not agile in handling a situation.
