After Heartbreaking Loss, Kentucky Refuses to Cave: "There's no other option"

For the first time in a long time, Kroger Field was alive in the fourth quarter. Fans were out of their seats and on their feet, trying to will Kentucky to a Top 25 win over Texas. The Cats nearly got there, but missed a chance to escape with an overtime victory.

The pain feels the same as many other losses before. It’s likely amplified knowing that it should have been a win.

The box score is staggering. Texas only had eight first downs on the Kentucky defense. It was the fewest first downs by a Top 25 opponent since the 1976 Peach Bowl.
