After “Dropping the Ball” prior to Citrus Bowl, Jordan Jones Seeks Redemption at NFL Combine

The linebacker earned All-SEC honors after his sophomore season. A year later he was not the same player, plagued by injuries and self-inflicted setbacks.

“I got in a little trouble in the beginning of my career, but I had a chance to redeem myself after that,” Jones told KSR at the NFL Combine. “When they gave me that other chance, I definitely capitalized.”

In his final season at UK, Jones recorded 68 tackles, 5.5 for loss and 1.5 sacks. He did it all without losing his cool on the football field. Even though Jones did not earn any unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, he made another significant mistake off the field.
