After day of rivalry trash talk, Kentucky-Louisville game rounds out UK nonconference schedule

LEXINGTON - After a day of rivalry trash talk, it appears the Kentucky-Louisville basketball rivalry game will be played in 2020.

Tuesday morning, UK coach John Calipari said he hoped to still play the game but had a backup option lined up if Louisville canceled the game.

Louisville coach Chris Mack responded Tuesday night with a fiery video posted to Twitter accusing Kentucky of backing out of the original date agreed upon for the game before saying he would not stand in the way of the rivalry being played.
