Advanced stats predict Kentucky football will reach the six-win mark

Oh, how quickly things can change…

It was less than a month ago that Kentucky football was manhandled by the Tennessee Volunteers, losing 54-36 at home in a game that dropped the Wildcats to 2-5 on the season (0-5 SEC). Mark Stoops‘ seat as head coach was hotter than it’d ever been before. The postseason was not even in the conversation. Fast forward three weeks, and Kentucky is on the verge of making a bowl game.

UK is now 5-5 with a 2-5 record in the SEC, winning three straight against Auburn, Florida, and Saturday’s 42-10 drumming of Tennessee Tech, a top 10 FCS program.
