You’re not alone if you considered calling 9-1-1 while taking in last night’s Kentucky-Florida basketball game because it sounded like a horror movie in the background of both the TV and radio broadcasts. The teams of Tom Hart and Jimmy Dykes on ESPN and Tom Leach and Jack Givens on the UK Sports Network had to talk over blood-curdling screams while trying to discuss the basketball game in front of them, while behind them, a woman did considerable long-term damage to her larynx.
At one point Givens even said, “I know there are a couple of young ladies behind us who will not make it to the end of the game at the pitch they have been screaming.
