Many people not named Drew Franklin were surprised to see walk-on wide receiver Charles Walker have so much success in only his second season as a Wildcat.
He hasn’t had too many opportunities, but he’s made the most of them. “Whenever I get a chance, I just gotta make a play,” Walker said. His biggest play came late in the game against Auburn, hauling in a 20-yard reception down the middle of the field on a 4th-and-long to keep the drive alive.
Many people outside of Louisville were probably surprised to even see him in the game.
