A Happy Summary Of Kentucky’s Win At Vanderbilt

With the agony of last weekend’s loss to Tennessee still fresh and the growing urgency for another win to reach bowl eligibility, Kentucky desperately needed to get back in the win column on Saturday. And what better way to get back in the win column than playing against Vanderbilt? Vandy is an ideal opponent in a bounce-back scenario and the Cats took advantage of the Commodores’ poor defense, totaling 38 points in the 38-14 win.

Here, have a recap of the action:

Chris Rodriguez had a breakout performance.

Rodriguez couldn’t get off the bench earlier in the season after fumbling twice in the opener against Toledo, but he won’t have any problem getting touches moving forward after a coming out party against Vanderbilt.
